About CoCollage
CoCollage was started by a group of guys with one goal; to make a simple, fun way for people to share and connect with the people around them in their favorite hangout spots. What we have today is something that is easy and fun for users but also has benefits that go beyond simple entertainment.
Users - CoCollage isn't ending world hunger but it is helping end world boredom. When you walk into a venue that has CoCollage you see a large TV or Display filled with photos and messages from the people around you. You can quickly take out your smart phone and dive into this assortment of images and messages, interacting with the people there with you and their cool content.
Venues - Since it was first created CoCollage has been installed in some interesting places; youth hostel, communal office space, Jewish cultural center, vegan restaurant, and all types of coffee shops and bars. Every time we show it to someone new they have ideas on where it can be installed next and how it might be used. When CoCollage goes into a venue it is filled by the people that make up that community, they are the ones that power the collage, creating the Community Collage (CoCollage).
Events - Awards ceremonies, company parties, conventions and private events have all had a chance to utilize CoCollage. Each time we do another event we find more people checking into, posting and loving CoCollage. People already check-in to, post photos of & messages about events they attend, CoCollage lets all that content live in a LARGE visual space (sometimes 12' x 10' projections). This does a number of things but mostly it gets more people to post, share and connect to one another and to the outside world. There is no better way to promote or validate an event than to have all the guests promoting it all over the web and LIVE for all to see.
Promotion - Whether CoCollage is installed permanently at a venue or temporarily for an event it creates a way to quickly and easily inform everyone within eye-shot. CoCollage engages people with one another and then inserts messages or promotions carefully into the mix. These are scheduled to come up at variable frequencies and also appear on users smart phone so they can click them to take action right away. Drink & food specials, upcoming event information and special shout-outs to sponsors are the most common, but it is your CoCollage so use your imagination!
